Two sets of eyes

About
The firm has been working since 2011. We started as a small technical translation office serving machine builders; offices in other countries came for a simple reason — a text should be written by someone who lives in the country it is meant for.
Today there are five offices: Stockholm, Milan, Madrid, New York and Moscow. Each is staffed with in-house translators and reviewers rather than freelancers from a marketplace. That is slower and more expensive to hire for, but quality no longer depends on who happened to be available.
Most of our clients are manufacturers, software companies and law firms — texts where an imprecise phrase has a price. Nothing leaves this office without a second pair of eyes.
No text is delivered without a reviewer. Urgency is not an exception.
Terminology is agreed before translation starts. Arguing about it at delivery is the expensive option.
We quote the date we can hold, not the one that is pleasant to hear.
«The dates they quote are real and they hold them. In our industry that is not the norm.»
